Cheryle is proud to be partnered through CIR Realty with Ronald McDonald House of Southern and Central Alberta (RMHC) and with AARCS (Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society). These very special charities have local roots in the community. Cheryle believes it is important to support and give back to the community wherever possible and so, a portion of her real estate commissions is donated throughout the year to these life changing organizations

RMHC (Ronald McDonald House Charities)

Ronald McDonald House Charities® Alberta supports families seeking vital medical treatment for seriously ill or injured children. Their warm, compassionate Houses provide a home-away-from-home for families who need to travel for medical reasons. These stays can last for a few nights or a long as several weeks or months at a time. www.rmhcalberta.org 

AARCS (Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society)

The Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) is a grassroots animal welfare organization with a foundation built on compassion and kindness. Their goal is to help homeless animals in communities across Alberta and provide community support programs to address the root causes of animal overpopulation and homelessness. www.aarcs.ca

How Can You Give Back?

Seeing the need of so many and knowing that there are many avenues to support others, Cheryle encourages everyone to take a step forward and help those around them who need it the most. Not sure where to start? Check out this admirable charity that is getting a lot of attention – Dignity and Grace. Founded by a 17-year-old mother & grade 12 student who looked at homelessness through a different lens and said, “Just because the people facing the streets have less does not mean they are less. They deserve to be clothed in Dignity and shown Grace.” This young woman started a clothing company and for each item purchased, a duplicate item is donated to a local organization in your area to distribute to those facing the streets. www.clothingtheneed.com
